Uses approximately 300 yards of crochet thread size 10. US crochet terms are used in this pattern.

This is Filet Crochet done in worsted-weight yarn. I used 3.5 balls of Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball Namaste Neutrals. But any worsted weight will do just fine.

This is one of my latest designs, it is Christian themed, inspirational, and my version of a prayer shawl. It is filet crochet, which is a series of basic crochet stitches, that only look complicated.

I used Red Heart Super Saver - Ombre - Violet in the shawl pictured, and 'I Love This Yarn' white with silver strand through it in the other photo shown, but any medium worsted weight yarn will work.
